1500 litre (330 gallons) bunded top outlet fuel tank.
This UNI Tank Diesel tank consists of an inner tank made from HDPE surrounded by a galvanised steel casing, forming a 110% integral Bund. A full steel pallet with collision protection allows the tank to be moved easily by fork lift. Four screw caps on the top of the unit provide connections for any ancillaries needed, such as pump, suction or fill connection, contents gauge or collecting funnel. Lower centre of gravity increases stability and improves handling/transport.
This Uni-Tank is suitable for storage of diesel, biodiesel, without an additional bund, even in water-protected areas.
NB: Please note that this tank is a top outlet tank
Supplied complete with:
- 4no 2" BSP threaded openings (1 containing the fillling level indicator/contents gauge)
- Filling level indicator (within 1 of the 2" openings)
- Optical leak detector
- Integral carrying handles
- No pump as standard
These Uni-tanks are tested to withstand the effects of fire for a duration 30 minutes without leakage in rooms within buildings that fulfill the building code requirements for boiler rooms and heating oil storage areas.

Irish regulations
Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
