Made from tough high density polyethylene (HDPE), water tight basin is designed so it won’t breakdown or corrode in a harsh septic environment. This water tight basin can be used with Polylok’s 600mm (24”) risers and secure covers to make sump/pump chambers. Perfect for installing an effluent filter or pump outside the tank, or just as a drainage well.

Irish regulations
Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
