BUND WARNING ALARM
This clever 9v battery powered Bund Warning Alarm allows you to check for the presence of liquid inside the bunded area of your oil tank on demand e.g.. as a result of condensation, tank leaks or in the case of overfill.
This allows you to make timely arrangements for the removal of any surplus liquid from the bunded area, thereby maintaining the integrity of your oil tank.

Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
