The Piusi EX50 Pump satisfies the strict ATEX/IECEx directive concerning the use of materials in potentially explosive atmospheres. Designed for the mobile and static transfer of petrol, kerosene and diesel in a zone one environment, these ATEX pumps are explosion proof. This petrol transfer pump has a sturdy, cast iron body, and thanks to its quality manufacturing has a long life span. Incorporated in the 230 and 12 volt fuel transfer pump body is an integrated bypass valve.

Irish regulations
Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
