The SpillStop 2" Overfill Prevention Valve protects both the environment and the individual from the effects of fuel spillage. This overfill protection device is suitable for use on both fuel and diesel storage tanks, which may have a pumping or gravity feed system. Once the tank has reached its maximum fuel capacity, this valve will close to prevent any additional fuel from being delivered, thus preventing overfilling.

Irish regulations
Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
