WATCHMAN LT SENSOR
The Kingspan Watchman LT sensor is a robust ultrasonic transmitter that provides reliable and continuous level or distance measurement of fluids, pastes, or solid bulk materials for application ranges from 200 mm to 6.5 meters. Incorporating state-of-the-art ultrasonic technology and processing algorithms, all Watchman LT models provide precision non-contact measurement for commercial applications such as factory automation, process control or tank level monitoring.

Irish regulations
Installation & requirements
OFTEC regulation
All domestic oil tank installations in Ireland must be carried out by an OFTEC-registered technician. The tank must conform to IS:293 and be sited in accordance with IS:820.
Site requirements
The tank must stand on a level, load-bearing concrete base minimum 100 mm thick, extending 300 mm beyond the tank footprint on all sides. Ground must be clear of vegetation.
Bunding requirements
Bunded tanks are required within 10 m of a watercourse or drain. Secondary containment must hold 110% of the inner tank capacity. Check local planning conditions before installation.
